The 30th was a Buttfiller run. It was exactly what we have come to expect from him. I couldn't get to the run on time as I had to save the beer. Skidmarks had decided to customize his truck and make it one foot longer. He did this by using one of the local Hi Lux trucks...Nuff' said! The run went around the lake that was it... Nice scouting Buttman! He redeemed himself a bit with food but it wasn't enough. All in all it was what we have become used to with the Buttman. What can one expect on the 30th...last run of the year 2008! Have a good one guys! ONON!

This Tuesday 16/12 was another COOL day. Mr Pooh was hare and King for a Day and so he was: He only set the run and gave all the other jobs away: Dogshit had to get beer and ice and Dykie had to make food. We aren't even sure he set the run as he went out with BusBitch; his private Bitch now... Trail was pretty nice though powder hard to find at times (waddoya expect from a guy who doesn't even SEE where he himself is going?) It meandered up and down Doi Suthep and came back across the waterfall where Graven, Headless Chicken and Greasy thought it was a good idea to directly "slide" back into A... The rest got diverted to the boy scout camp which for the occasion was filled with Girl scouts (thanks for the software Mr Pooh!) and of course bamboozer got "stuck" just there. All in all a good run. Circle had a bonfire and lasted till the last beer was drunk...except the Leo!! Good one guys! ONON!

A message from Dyke Converter to all members of CUMH3 Birra Emolumenta Laborum

This Tuesday 2/12 was a Beautifull cool day and what else could f*ck it up but Superman and Bonehur setting the run together. All products were in store for a major failure: Bonehur had been out the day before and got lost. Then they went out together and...got lost. So it was that at 3.30 the DAY OF THE RUN they went out to set a run!!! Interesting start. We arrived at the circle and the hares weren't there. We called them and they said we could just get going. Nice hare brief...The run was actually OK, probably not thanks to the hares, but to their time limit. Bit of climbing involved and as Boney went up the trail to check where people were a stick "bit" a piece out of his shin and he was profusely bleedin'... Nothing that beer couldn't help. It was a short and sweet circle the way Chuck wow would have liked it... Food was reasonable and so was the price for the whole thing. Well done hares! ONON!!!

12 hashers assembled @ the mini outstation expecting the worst because it was generally known that Bamboosler & Square Rooter had spent 5 days in the area determining how 2 inflict maximum pain on us.

Through the haze of some strange smelling smoke, the hair brief was given & we headed off toward a dauntingly high doi. At the first check, Chuck Wao took the "dummy" run directly up the doi. He come across the check back bar @ a "Scrooter 100 m mark" just as on on was called. The trip down the doi took so much time that CW could not readily locate the pack. Amazing Thailand!!! Scrooter appeared, looking vacant & confused. After a pregnant pause, Scroot thought instructions getting CW back with the pack was in order. Problem, his mouth was moving & noise spewing forth, but CW could not make sense of the instructions. In short, CW had 2 find the pack 4 himself & it was not until just after the pack had cleared an ankle deep swamp that he was successful. THE HASH GODS CAN B KIND. CW's shoes dry again, much 2 the hare's disappointment.

Thereafter, we wound our way through a maze of low land trails & checks. Seems the hares had had enough of the mountains & spared us much torture.

Dog Sh*t, as usual, was giving authoritative instruction; but no one was listening. Graven ran in his usual tactical way, seeing no point in seriously running checks. Skid Mark kept "appearing" & showing short bursts of speed, only 2 disappear again. Dag Locks was trying 2 apply science to the checks. He had determined Scrooted was laying economical small blobs of powder & had sent Bamboosler off 2 do the false trails. His determination FXcked him up.

Others generally "ran" what was a good well laid trail with Dirty Rotten Everything dead last.

Remember boys, "a short circle is a good circle"

CH3 - Pub Crawl - Monday November 10

Great pub crawl Hashers! Well we started the night at the old December Bar which is just across the moat from Loi Kroh Road. It’s now called On The Rocks. The owners decided to join us and we had a total of 24 guys set out on the first pub crawl of this year. A lot of new faces and even a few hashers who have not been seen in a few years. Hare for the night was Anal Virgin and after a few drinks and a free shot the first clue was given, it read simply: Pachyderm Pub. For those who live in Chiang Mai we knew he must mean the Elephant Café. As we made our way there we had a lot of discussion about the notorious reputation of the place and all the Lady Boys that used to hang out there. Lucky for us they were gone and there was a cutie behind the bar that took our orders. From there the next clue was: Bat Signal. It took quite some time before the Americans figured he must mean something about Batman and how do you signal Batman? With a Light of course. So off to the first go go bar of the night. Another drink and another clue, this time it was some sort of math equation and the sum equaled 1; hence we proceeded to the number one bar. No one was expecting a group of 24 drunks walking into there bar so it was quite a shock for them. We drank up and Anal ran off before paying his bill, too bad the girls at Number One know his real name…… Next clue: Drinks with Anything. Chiang Mai has a bunny Hasher named “Sleeps with Anything” so we decided it would be a good bet to head to her bar and see if that is indeed the place. What’s the worst that could happen, another drink??? Sure enough he was there waiting for us. Here is where I had to leave the pub crawl for a bit and go back to Foxy to wait for all the boys to arrive. I got the meeting room set up and we had two giant blocks of ice put in the bathroom. # cases of beer and a lot of drunk hashers later we finished off the circle and went downstairs to drink the night away. From here on out most of us don’t remember much except that it was a night to remember!

CUMH3 run 4 November 2008 Again we were confronted with Square Rooter...this time he had set the run with Chuck Wow and as we all know 0.5brainx0.5brain is 0.25 brain! So it was nearly a NO BRAINER... We left the football field on Samoeng road and started off joyfully towards the rice paddy's. After running in people's gardens and on little dykes we came onto a dirt road that where there was a check but no one saw it so we all went up the hill...and down again after the checkback!! Through the middle of the 2 mountains was a trail and we followedit through to get out on the other side. A bit further was a V check from hell...Suc kit took a left there and it never ended, once again all the sheep followed each other except myself and Busbitch who followed the right trail which also was the RIGHT trail.Up towards the mountains where I had a wrong circle check so everyone came back up which is nice...for them! Then we came to a check at the bottom of a mountain and I was so sure Rooter would lead us up...wrong! As I was coming down everyone and their dog had passed me and now I was trailing. Then came a check at only 30 minutes into the so called 1 hour run and we saw the paper where we came out on clearly. Knowing that this was not it we looked up and around all over the place. Silly hares put us back on the old trail and that was it. They were duly splashed and we got pretty plastered. On On was at No.1 bar where we brought bottles of liqueur in ourselves to save our debt ridden arses after the stock plunge... ON IIIIIN!!!!!

Run 782: Location Huay Tung Tao


Hare of the day was Butt Filler. The run started in classic Butt Filler style by leading the group around in a loop and across busy roads and passing good trails. Eventually we went off into the Jungle but not before having to dodge off road motorbikes racing through the trails and coming up against impenetrable shiggy. The second half of the run was a big improvement to the first running through lots of nice countryside. At the B stop everyone had a beer. Only Grease Gorilla & Dog Sh*t continued the run back to the A site. All the other lazy bastards got a ride back on the back of Butt Fillers truck.


In the circle Butt Filler & Dog Sh*t were awarded the pansy dresses. Dog Sh*t then continued to receive six more awards giving him the dream. GM Fag then handed out Hash Cunt & Hash Sh*t wards to everyone in an attempt to single himself out for the wings, this did not work and the wings were given to Bus Bitch. A great barbecue meal was provided by Butt Filler and lots & lots of beer was consumed as always.

This Tuesday's CUMH3 21 October started off in the weirdest fashion ever. We all thought we just went to sleep and woke up in a hash nightmare! Asked where the beer was the hare replied "Do I have to arrange beer"? Asked why there were no signs on the road "Oh, I was a bit late"... and so on and so forth. People were already getting ready to leave...what's the use of running if not for beer? Luckily yours truly had a stash of "security beer" in the back of his truck and although everyone went off when they saw it we were now offloading it and putting it in the coolers. The Hare looked a bit out of himself. I went off quite late and started following suit. It didn't take long to find out that the heavy rains had turned most trails near Doi Suthep national park into little streams so no use in even trying to keep the shoes dry...We meandered first away from the mountain and then...towards it...and up it...and up it...and up it...until oxygen got scarce... I went down from there and found trail next to the lake which took us...more or less into the lake!!! Negotiating streams and fallen trees we were taken over a dam and back towards "A". The guards wanted to throw us out before and during circle but we all looked up the mountain and kept saying "there's one of us still out there". Last runners DID come in in the dark I'd say a rough 9K run. Good job Rooter! You had us all f*cked again! Lucky for Rooter Grease Gorilla brought some food and we still all got pissed if not for shots from Liberace's bottle of 100 Pipers... ONON!!! A CUM Hash easily remembered... Circle was later reconvened upstairs in Foxy Lady A GO GO...we even brought the ice! ON IIIIIN!!!!! DC

Some Great Hash Events Coming up in Vientiane, Laos

Vientiane H3 (VH3) 1500th Run on Monday, 15th December. There will be a regular Vientiane Bush Hash (VBH3)Run on Saturday 13th (although this may be run in conjunction with a Bangkok Hash Outstation Run). There'll also be a piss-up on Friday night and a Liver Run on the Saturday.

Solstice Hash on Tour (SHOT) #8 - Vientiane. This is a KL-based group who run at the Solstice in different places - this time it's in Vientiane, main run Saturday 20th December & Liver Run on the Sunday. (They say there could be as many as 100 Hashers from Malaysia (not including the VBH3, of course).

Come on over - all welcome! (Although we'd like some hint about numbers if at all possible).
